Every once I awhile I discover a line of wines that
are just a great value! This California beauty I call my "Baby Amarone"! No, It's not an Amarone but it has
all the deep dark fruit of fig and raisins that is characteristic of an Italian Amarone. Give it some air and watch out!
Zinfully delicious!
-Ridge Three Valleys 2004 -Primarily Zinfandel with Petite Sirah, Carignane, Mourvedre and Grenache, this
wine has fruit,layers and a opulent long finish. Zin heads will love this!
-Carol Shelton Wild Thing Zin 2004-Using
wild yeast produces a truly Wild Thing! 16% abv but not the least bit hot....well...you know what I mean!
-Rosenblum Appellation Series 2005- Kent Rosenblum's zin are monsters! That's his style.....huge jammy fruit
bombs that are rich and complex. Not to be missed!!
Cool whites too!
Some people think I ignore the whites wines. It is true I am a little red focused but I really do enjoy
a nice racy white every now and then. Here are some of my favorites!

Wine Events & Wine Tastings:
This tasting is designed to introduce wine lovers to the joys of high end and often hard to get
fine wines.
Price does not always mean a wine is superior. But often higher end wines bring more complexity (richer,
more layers of flavor) and better balance (how everything works together!) than the average $12 wine. These wines are more
expensive for a reason-find out for yourself!
The SWG meets every other month, or so. Lovely wines are paired with
fabulous appetizers and down to earth explanations.
The Wine Guild
The flagship wine tasting group of Bon Vivant meets the 2nd Friday of each month at 7 PM, same great
wines. This tasting introduces the hottest wines from $8 to $25 in the market today. I have always said, "There has never
been a better time to be a wine lover!"
New wines from all over the world are pouring into the market. Here is
a tasting to help you discover the true gems just waiting to be discovered!
